Well, I’m no fan of government in general, but it’s not surprising that people are turning to outsider parties when they feel like the establishment keeps failing them. The Freedom Party probably tapped into a lot of frustration over immigration and the economy, but just because they won, doesn’t mean they’ll be able to get anything done. Forming a coalition in a system loaded with checks and balances can be a nightmare, and that’s probably a good thing. More government control, whether it's from the left or right, is still more government control. What people need is less interference in their lives, not more. Let’s hope this shakes things up a bit, but I’m not holding my breath for any real change.
